Our mission is to make life easier for small and medium sized businesses, the backbone of our global economy. 

We do that by working with fintech companies and financial institutions to help them connect into the systems their small business customers use. With this connectivity, our clients are building next generation products to take the friction out of running a small business, from business management software to alternative lending and corporate cards.

Codat is a Series C-funded company, backed by some of the leading investors and most successful tech companies in the world, including J.P. Morgan, Shopify, Plaid, PayPal Ventures, Amex Ventures, Index Ventures and Tiger Global. We have offices in London, New York, Sydney.

What you will be doing

Codat is scaling rapidly. We have doubled our head count year on year for the past 3 years and have ambitious plans to continue this pace of growth. As a result, the talent team is looking after well over 50 open positions at any time.

We are looking to fill a new type of role to join the Codat Talent function and work on Executive Search helping us identify, attract and hire the highest calibre individuals into Senior and Leadership roles at Codat.

You will:

  • Help us identify top class talent from across multiple markets and disciplines
  • Build attraction plans through content, community engagement and direct reach outs
  • Work with Leadership to understand future high impact roles for the next 6-18 months and work on how to find and where to find talent to suit those positions
  • Build lasting, meaningful relationships with identified talent with the aim of converting into a candidate in the long term or having them as an external ambassador for Codat that can help boost awareness and attract others
  • Help the wider talent team build expertise in long term acquisition tactics
  • Ensure that our market efforts allow us to capture a diverse range of interests across both thought and background
  • Consistently help Codat to secure highly driven and impactful individuals regardless of team or function

What excites us

  • You have previous experience as an executive head-hunter or in executive search, either in agency or internal talent teams
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the FinTech market. You know who the big players are and where to find them
  • You are multi-disciplined and comfortable with finding talent from Engineering through to Sales, Operations or Client Solutions
  • You have a demonstrable record of building long term relationships which lead to hiring success
  • You are driven and motivated by a low-volume, high impact talent position
  • You understand that this role is not about 'buy now' but about how we attract for the future
  • You understand how to build talent campaigns which involve: community engagement, content campaigns, direct messaging, and meeting with potential candidates
  • You are a natural team player and are committed to ensuring that Codat is successful with overall hiring aims
  • You want to help others learn and recognise where your skill set can be used to help across the Talent team in hiring for higher volume or more urgent positions
